With the Big Pilot's Watch 43 Tourbillon Le Petit Prince. IWC Schaffhausen is perpetuating the Pilot's Watch tradition by paying tribute to Antoine de Saint-Exupéry's famous tale. "The Little Prince". Just as flight and writing were inseparable for Saint-Exupéry. so are poetry and technology in this special edition. In a limited edition of 300 pieces. this Big Pilot's Watch features a 43mm case and crown in 18-carat Armor Gold. gold. This alloy is much harder and stronger than the classic red gold thanks to the improved microstructure. In contrast to the case. the dark blue dial features a refined sunray finish. The gold-plated hands and indexes. filled with Super-luminova. emit an enigmatic luminescence in the dark.
